This page explains what information SteadyCalculator (steadycalculator.com) collects when you visit, and what happens to it. In short: very little. Our calculators run in your browser, and what you type into them never reaches us.
What our calculators do with your numbers
Every calculator on this site runs locally in your web browser. The numbers, dates and text you enter are used on your own device to produce your result. They are not sent to our servers, not stored by us, and not visible to us.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting servers keep standard technical logs when pages are requested. These logs can include your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use these logs only to run the site, keep it secure and understand overall traffic levels. They are not used to identify individual visitors and are kept only as long as our hosting provider’s standard retention requires.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to function and, if you sign in as an administrator, to keep that session secure. We do not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. If we add advertising or analytics in future, this policy will be updated first to explain what is used, and any consent tools required will be put in place.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to reply and to handle the issue you raised. We do not sell, rent or share email addresses with third parties for marketing.
Links to other websites
Our pages sometimes link to official sources and other external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and you should read their policies if you visit them.
Children
This site is a general-audience reference tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
Because our calculators do not collect your inputs, there is nothing stored about your calculations to access or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
